Let’s rewind. In the early 20th century, Firestone’s founder Harvey Firestone promoted emerging talent through a radio and TV program called “The Voice of Firestone”.
More than a century later, Firestone’s voice can be heard louder than ever, as we keep that commitment alive at some of the best music festivals in Europe.
This year we have once again partnered with some of Europe’s most important music festivals to give new talent a stage and an audience of thousands.
Firestone’s latest road trip took them on a tour of Europe, starting in Germany at Southside Festival, looping through to the Bilbao BBK Live Festival in Spain and ending up in Paris at Rock en Seine.
In total, Firestone spotlighted 34 emerging artists, including the winners of the Road to the Main Stage competitions in Germany, the UK and France, held in association with Deezer.
Unsurprisingly this year’s festival season was a blast, as besides the amazing gigs, thousands of fans took part in numerous music-inspired activities. Some challenged their friends in the Drum Arcade or got music-themed tattoos, while others had fun in a creative photo booth.
And the fun didn’t stop there. Firestone was ‘top of mind’ everywhere at the festivals, thanks to the thousands of red hats handed out in the Firestone area, turning the crowds into a red wave.
